ALMU In The Formative Stage Of Development

Those of you who are, or have been, involved in trade associations will no doubt emphasize the profound influence an effective association can have on the aspirations of a free society, and to the growth and development of individual organisations within that society.

Throughout the world a variety of lubricant manufacturers associations strive to advance member interests – whether lobbying government, providing services and support, educating the public or maintaining a favorable business environment for the industry.

In Britain the UKLA represents local lubricant producers. Europe is serviced by multiple associations such as the UEIL and ATIEL, acting for European lubricant manufacturers and marketers. The ILMA provides resource and technical information for independent lube companies in North America.

There is however no ‘voice for Asia’. We lack a single collective voice for the Asian lubricant industry.

We are excited to announce that this is set to change. The ALMU - Asian Lubricant Manufacturers Unionis now in the formative stage of development.

We will be announcing further details at F+L Week 2017.  Stay tuned.
